How MineSolve collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.

Last updated: August 2026

01Who we are

MineSolve (Pty) Ltd ("MineSolve", "we", "us") develops and manages mining applications, data platforms, dashboards, automation and AI solutions for mining companies. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of our services.

02Information we collect

  • Contact and business details you submit through our enquiry or diagnostic forms: name, company, job title, work email, phone number, mine or operation name, commodity or mining type.
  • Details of your enquiry: area of interest, the operational challenge described, current systems or reporting methods, and preferred contact method.
  • Technical information generated automatically when you browse the site, such as pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address.

03Why we process your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a Mining Operations Diagnostic.
  • To assess which applications, integrations, dashboards or AI capabilities may fit.
  • To provide, host, support and improve services we deliver to your organisation.
  • To meet legal, contractual and record-keeping obligations.

04Lawful basis and consent

We process your information on the basis of your consent (given when you submit a form and tick the consent checkbox), the performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests, or compliance with a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time, which may limit our ability to respond to your enquiry.

05Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with our service providers (for example hosting and email providers) under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms, with our partner organisations SSC Group and Drivatic where necessary to respond to your enquiry, or where required by law.

06Storage, security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access control, encryption in transit and monitored hosting environments. Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

07Cross-border processing

Some of our service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient is subject to protections substantially similar to those required by POPIA.

08Your rights

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate or excessive information.
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe your rights have been infringed.

09Cookies

This website may use essential cookies required for the site to function and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. [PLACEHOLDER — confirm which analytics tools are in use.]
